Quepos Inshore Fishing Charter
Costa Rica is world renowned for its incredible bill fishing, but we also have an amazing (and little known!) inshore fishery as well. Here on the pacific coast of Costa Rica, we have some of the best rooster fishing any where in the world along with cubera snapper, amberjack, grouper and other species including snook.
Just this past year, we had one charter company break two world records for Pacific black snook and we have a feeling that will fall again in the coming months/years.
When is the best season for inshore fishing?
The great thing about inshore fishing is you can do it any time of the year and it typically is action packed, so great for avid anglers as well as youngsters that bet bored easily. Not to mention all the sea life you can see on any given day.
What type of charter should I book?
For inshore fishing, you can do half day, 3/4 day or full days, so you have some flexibility there as well. If you are coming down to fish a few days, we recommend giving inshore fishing a shot at least once as the species are diverse and there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Charter Options
Full Day Inshore Fishing
$1850—up to 6 people, additional $50 per extra person, up to 10 people total.
Full day charter includes: hot lunch, drinks, water, beer, snacks and fruits. Hours are 7am – 4:30pm / 5:00pm depending on where the bite is.
¾ Day Inshore Fishing
$1,550—up to 6 people, additional $50 per extra person, up to 10 people total.
¾ day charter includes: hot lunch, drinks, water, beer, snacks and fruits. Hours are 7am – 2:00pm / 2:30pm.
½ Day Inshore Fishing
$1,350—up to 6 people , additional $50 per extra person, up to 10 people total.
½ day charter includes: drinks, water, beer and snacks. Hours are 7am – 12:00pm.
