Quepos Offshore Fishing
Quepos offshore fishing is what fishing in Costa Rica is all about! Offshore World Championship is being held at Quepos since 2012 for a reason. Catch and release records are being broken year after year. If you’re into big game fish, give it a shot on our charter boat! With the fertile currents of the Pacific Ocean passing right along the coast of Costa Rica, we have what many would say is the best sail fishing grounds any where in the world.
When to book a Quepos offshore fishing trip?
Offshore fishing is great year-round in Costa Rica. In December – May period, the migration of Pacific sails is concentrated in the central pacific region of Costa Rica and offers anglers the chance at double digit release days pretty much any time in that frame window. During this time of year, Queos also gets a lot of mahi mahi, blue marlin, yellowfin tuna and the occasional wahoo. For marlin in specific, Quepos area gets a really good bite during the months of May – October when the meat fish show up in good numbers as well.
If you are not looking for billfish, you can also target wahoo, mahi mahi and tuna which is great table fare. Regardless of the time of year you visit, there is always action offshore and just ask us when the best time is for your target species and our advise is free to you.

$1850—up to 6 people, additional $50 per extra person, up to 10 people in total.
Full day charter includes: hot lunch, drinks, water, beer, snacks and fruits. Hours are 7am – 4:30pm / 5:00pm depending on where the bite is.
¾ Day Offshore Fishing
$1550—up to 6 people, additional $50 per extra person, up to 10 people total.
¾ day charter includes: hot lunch, drinks, water, beer, snacks and fruits. Hours are 7am – 2:00 / 2:30pm
